Relief beyond medication
For people who have tried medication and still don’t feel like themselves, TMS offers another path. Ask us about availability and advance evaluations.
What is TMS?
Focused magnetic pulses stimulate brain regions involved in mood. It’s done awake in the office, with no anesthesia, no IV and no downtime. You can drive yourself home.
Treatment options
Standard: 5 days a week for about 6 weeks.
Accelerated: several sessions a day over a shorter time. Coverage varies by protocol.
Safety
Generally well tolerated. Some people feel mild scalp discomfort, headache or brief facial twitching. Serious side effects such as seizure are rare, and everyone is screened first.
